HOW TO GET INVOLVED

There are a few ways to get involved with the solar projects proposed for Greene County. The most important thing you can do is share your thoughts and concerns with our town, county and state officials. We’ve provided their contact information below. We’ll update this page with upcoming events. These events are a great way to learn more from the developers and town officials - and to share your thoughts on the projects. We’ve also provided some resources to learn more about the proposed projects and the regulatory processes for solar projects.

SPEAK YOUR MIND

The most important thing you can do as a member of the community is to share your thoughts, ideas and concerned with our town officials and elected politicians. Town officials in Coxsackie and Athens are the most important officials in this process as their zoning approval is necessary for the project to move forward. You can see the full contact details for all elected officials here.
